Welcome all! The Galactic Senate will be our new meeting room to decide on metaverse matters! This means that this is it's sole function...for now. This may change. This is not a slander thread like the Galactic Council one. There is no tolerance for profanity and swearing.
The leader of the senate will be voted upon once every 3 weeks! When the leader's term is up, he may be elected as many times as the voters want...unlimited! You may vote for yourself!
If the leader of the Senate does something inappropriate on this thread, then he will be immediately ousted and his throat will be slit with a razor. Then we'll rip his heart out and "The Legions of Darkness" (The Raiders special forces) will feast on it!
To be elected, one must have at least 12 the most votes! You may only vote for 1 person each ELECTION!
All issues must be brought to attention by either a senator or overlord of an empire! A citizen may bring up an issue, but it will not be voted on until a senator or overlord formally proposes it. To be considered a senator or overlord, you must have at least one other person in your empire besides yourself and you must have senator status!
That's all there is to say....now let's get started!

AMENDMENTS:
1. Anyone who is a senator in more than 1 empire counts as 2 votes but NOT 2 people! If you wish to be counted as a "Super" Senator, you must send me a PM telling me which empires you're a senator in.
2. The leader of the 1st place empire counts as 3 votes!
3. Free beer for all in attendance, but not to excess.
4. To pass anything, it must receive at least 12 6 votes, but if the nos outweigh the yeses, then it does not get passed.

NEXT ELECTION: Whenever I decide...but i'm a dictator, so i proably won't.

Actually the real reason is because everytime weelect a new leader they always run off and don't returnso what'sthe point of this senate.


There's supposed to be a point? Apparently the point is to get rid of everyone else one-by-one by making electing each of them as leader...

I vote Seth's request to rejoin the senate be denied, due to his attitude and rudeness to other players who are clearly been emotionally dragged down by his comments. (Ps. I could litterally write a book about how rude seth is to others)I mean look at PlayJeff, he's has suffered a total mental break down.


Mabye I'll write a book about the way how you kept changing your name and avatar ;p

I guess if we want to get Seth to quit hanging around our Senatorial parties, we are gonna have to elect him as leader. Maybe then this Senate can finally die and go the way of all the other Senates and Councils before it. Hell, I think even DSep has jumped boat on this sinking turd. Although it has been fun watching this Senate die such a slow and agonizing death. It has brought more than a few tears of joy to my eyes lately (or maybe it's just my contacts irritating them, IDK).  :LOL:

Then we give him emergency power over the entire senate while this crisis exists, but what we don't know is that the crisis itself has been set in motion so that he may achieve his ends. Or did I just see that in a movie?

Actually, you're a senator and haven't resigned, so you automatically qualify as a member.

In that light, I vote that anyone who resigns (quits) the senate shall not be recognized here unless properly voted back in.

If Seth can complete whatever tasks Silent.Bob gives him he can have the senate...whats left of it....and the rest of us??? Well we can drink at Jeff's house... ;)

Hmmm sounds like a plan worthy of thought. I could certainly think of a few tasks for Mr.Penguin to complete in order to hold this office. Firstly he would need to, and however he does this is his choice, need to convince someone, somehow to post in this thread.
I want to see a post in this thread from..................Kryo.
