My JUWC Future Glimpses Attempt

A Silly Juvenile Poem

Here it is in the year 2112,

So what's the big Rush?,

We all wanna ride,

On the next space bus.

No need for a long explanation,

I will be terse,

We can now visit any planet,

In our universe.

Trips only take minutes,

The longest an hour flight,

In fact our lowest gear,

Is the speed of light.

You can travel anywhere,

From Mercury to Mars,

And they say in 10 years,

We'll all have space cars.

Want to have a fun night,

Then I recommend Neptune,

Or tick away the moments of a dull day,

On the Dark Side of the Moon.

Venus is full of women,

So it's the destination of all the guys,

And there's so much to do on Jupiter,

Probably because of the size.

But not everyplace is great,

Pluto is probably the baddest,

Everybody there has attitudes,

Since they lost their planet status.

The odor of Saturn is nasty,

It comes from the rings that made them famous,

The only worse smell in the galaxy,

Is the one from Uranus.

Dat's why we be writin' about some shit that makes ya think...or at least entertain dat ol' brain.

All this politickin' and gadget worship and drama can go take a flying kiss at Uranus fer all I care. Though I reckon you might care when all dat stuff comes ahuntin' for yer ass ta kiss. ;)
