I'm not sure about the numbers on this, but I think the theory is correct that if a democrats "chosen" candidate isn't nominated, a certain portion of them will vote for McCain.

Democrats just don't realize they are the best tool Republicans have for winning in November.

Actually, I was thinking of this the other day. The only way a Republican could win was for the Democrats to implode. They did.

I know that the media wants to create a war between conservative talk radio, and McCain, but you got to admit. They are doing more for his election than any campaign stumping could ever do.

They are keeping the democrat war going. And McCain just might squeak in.

And when all is said and done, McCain will have Monica Lewinsky to thank for it.

Absolutely.  I also think once the election gets down to two candidates and republicans see how someone like Obama or Hillary will raise taxes, create more entitlements, restrict gun rights, etc. that they will eventually back McCain.

Sadly he is the lesser of current evils.

I'm really interested in his VP pick. I think that will be his opportunity to bring some back.

He should pick a young, conservative woman.  :)

Condi Rice? ;)

Heh, heh - wouldn't that give the liberal media nightmares? A potential first on both tickets, with a twofer on the Repub side.

Heh.  I wouldn't want her, but I do think a younger, Conservative woman would be a great chocie.

I was thinking, I would love to see Ann Coulter, that would instantly make liberals jump into the ocean.  :D

Would be hard for her to campaign for her VP ticket while promoting Hillary for Pres?
