Demo thoughts

Hi there. I've been on the fence about getting Sins for a while, so I was glad to see the demo come out. Gave it a try, and here's some thoughts on it: - The little intro is great. Makes me wish there was a campaign mode, since there is enough story elements to make one work. Maybe they can do that as an addon pack? - 3 of the 4 tutorials were pretty good. The advanced logistics one wasn't nearly long enough, it left me with no real idea of what Broadcast Stations or Orbital Refineries do, or if it matters what planets I build them at. - The 90 minute timer really sucks. On my fourth game I finally managed to not get completely owned early on, but the timer ran out when things were getting interesting. Was a letdown. I'm hoping to pick the game up soon, though its sold out everywhere right now in my area (and the $20 charge to ship a physical copy from Stardock is pretty painful).

For me a lover of RTS games I was on the fence and waiting for a DEMO. I was looking for a game thats was more then just your average RTS gathering resources and all with a little more depth. So, I took a chance and purchased it. THIS GAME IS GREAT !! the ships, combat, space, the large battles, story line, constantly weighing your chooses. I have "World in Conflict" and I am waiting on "StarCraft 2" But this game is my favorite I rate it a 9.8. If your are a true RTS player and love a challenge you will not be disappointed. :D

Man,you people are so lucky.

Is Sins still coming to Australia EB Games?I really want my copy.

The 90 minute limit really spoil the fun.It always stop me from playing when i have a sizable fleet.

I dont even have a chance to use the broadcast towers yet.

The digital download is $45 USD.

Sins has NO DRM/CD protection so you do not need the CD. Once you register the serial number with Stardock Central (update/download manager)you can do these things:
-Download the full and up to date game with no limit that i am aware of.
-Download patches.
-Download the soundtrack/.pdf artwork (can someone state where that option is, i forget)
-Download the full game and backup to a CD.

The manual is located in the same folder as the sins.exe, to find said folder right click the Sins icon on your desktop > properties and go to the folder that is listed.

Paypal does require a bank account at least. You may also be able to find prepaid debit cards for sale locally which you can use if they're Visa/Mastercard compatible.
