ObjectDock and not find the program

I am using ObjectDock Plus v1.90 and have created several shortcuts to program I frequently use.

However, if the program has a special link entered in the link box of the Dock Entry Properties dialog screen, such as:

"G:\Thunderbird v1.5\thunderbird.exe" -addressbook

ObjectDOck says it can not find the program.

Thanks,

Paul

Problem had been solved, but it's back again!

For reasons unknown, one of my shortcuts disappeared.

When I attempted to add it back, I am having extreme prblems ever getting a link into the Link box.

Since I am using spaces in my folder names, I have to use quotation marks around the entire entry, i.e., "D:\Thunderbird v1.5.0.10".

When I attempt to enter the quotation marks, the cursor immediately goes to the beginning of the Link box and will not move.

I have the Thunderbird Address Book as a shortccut on my Win XP Pro "Quick Launch" taskbar. So I copied the entire link line in that properties dialog box and pasted it into the Link space in ObjectDock.

Now when I click on the icon, it tells me it can not find D:\Thunderbird v1.5.0.10. althoguh I have the exact same information in the ObjectDock with a shortcut to Thunderbird.

HELP!

Hi paulp575 try this please:

1) Remove the problem entries from your Object Dock theme.

2) Save your Object Dock theme: Dock Settings -> Themes -> Save Current Dock

3) Close Object Dock

4) Clear Object Dock Cache by deleting this ObjectDockPlus folder found on XP systems:  (Replace Big Dog with your User Name)

C:\Documents and Settings\Big Dog\Local Settings\Application Data\Stardock\ObjectDockPlus

If you have Vista might have slightly different file path.

5) Reboot, restart Object Dock, load your theme and try adding your shortcut.

If this doesn't work create a batch file to call the program you wish to load and put a shorcut on your theme to that instead.
