Image Link Breaks

I am using ObjectDock Plus v1.90 and am experiencing a problem with the images associated with this program.

If I create a new item (docklet? sorry if I don''t know the correct terminology) and use the image (.ico) from the program's .exe file, every time I restart my computer, the image changes to the default question mark.

You need to change the icon on the dock, not the icon for the exe itself. Right click on the dock icon > dock entry properties > change image > browse for an icon.

That's exactly what I did:

Right clicked on the icon; select 'Change Image'; browsed to the folder where the image is located; left clicked on the icon (an .ico file).

That works OK until I restart my computer. Then the icon changes tothe default question mark icon!

Hum...well, that's weird. It should stick and not change. Try saving your theme and see if it reverts the next time you restart.

There is no need to browse to the .exe to set default icon, when open Dock Entry Properties click reset image and this will/should set default program icon. If it does not remove shortcut from dock and start again. If you want default icon best way is to browse to programs folder and drag the .exe to dock. When selecting the .exe to set image you are not really selecting an .ico image this may be why it changes after reboot.
