awfully frustrating

I bought this game and tried it and ran into all the problems others have mentioned. Then I downloaded the patch and ran into the problem where the game crashes every time I try to win an endorsement. Then I downloaded the fix for that and the game now won't initialize.

So, if I go without the endorsement fix, I can't start the game. And if I go without the endorsement fix, I can't win the game. I read the post about how to fix the initialize problem (drivers) but I'm not as computer savvy as others around here and, as far as I can tell, that fix just takes me to some website and I'm supposed to figure out what to do from there. I couldn't.

This is really pathetic frankly. Can someone provide clear, step by step instructions to fix these various problems???

Please help.

Are you using the official 1.02 patch, or the internal one?

What kind of video card do you have? What operating system? Is it a laptop or a pc?

How can I find out what kind of video card I'm using. I'm using Windows ME. I think I am using 1.01. Did 1.02 just come out?

If you right click on your desktop, then choose properties, the settings tab should tell you what kind of card you have.
