I'm not sure if ths is the appropriate place to post this, but I was wondering if there would be a way to create something like orbit (see link) with desktopx.  It is a round application launcher, explorer, taskbar that creates a new circle for each level.  I would like to do some things differently and I want to know if it is possible before I think about diving in.  Any tips would be appreciated as well.

Anything is possible. Natively...as in without scripting it's not possible on any platform to my knowledge. It can be scripted but, will take some work.

Thermalsensor has a code in this thread that would be a great start. https://forums.wincustomize.com/?forumid=168&aid=152416#1223446

There is a DesktopX Forum here DesktopX Forum that probably is better for posting non support questions but, most DXr's check them all out regularly. ;)

From what I know of DesktopX, it seems like an ideal platform on which which to build somthing like Orbit, but as SirSmiley says, it will definitely require you to get your hands dirty with some scripting and code. But it looks like it could be worth it.
I'd love to see something like it, both highly configurable and awesome-looking.

Good luck... :)

I actually have something here that was made by me and Martin years ago.... it's a DX theme that behaves in a similar way. I'll have to see if I can find the time to do something with it. (and it DOES look quite awesome.....) B[]
