Funny how such

Natural things

Have been skewed

By Society.

 

We think our urges,

Our desires

Are somehow

Unclean.

 

Though there is

A certain beauty

In all that is deemed

Inappropriate.

 

Be it the unbridled

Throbbing and gyrating

In the sweetest passion.

 

Or the savage,

Enraged and bloody

Brutality that some

Seem to enjoy.

 

Think outside the civil

And enlightened and you see

That animal craze that lurks

Within our very being.

 

We cast aside

Those dark, dark thoughts.

Yet still have them

If only for one moment.

 

There is beauty there,

Unconventional beauty.

In the throes of lustful pleasures

And the surge of carnal rage.

 

Deep down

We humans

Are very much

Raw.

Then I'd have to go about recording it and all.  I ain't much of a dramatic reader...though I have been working on it.  Normally I read too fast for my mouth to catch up...curse my literate brain!
