The developer of Titan Quest and Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War – Soulstorm has ceased active game development due to "several unrelated events." The company didn't go into too much detail regarding the closure but they are trying to help their now out-of-work employees find new locations.
“While Iron Lore will not continue, the talent of the team is embodied in the individuals now available for other opportunities. If you are a developer or publisher looking to hire top-notch experienced developers, please send an email to pchieffo “at” ironlore “dot” com and we will be happy to facilitate recruiting with you.”
While the company may not be developing anything new at the moment, this does not mean they are completely dead. Iron Lore owns a “powerful and flexible engine and tool set” which they hope they can license out to garner an influx of cash, possibly allowing the company to return to active development.
I enjoyed all three of their products to date and wish them all the best in getting back on their feet.
