Where's the manual?

Greetings,

I'm on vacation in Europe and I just downloaded The Political Machine and the manual. I don't see where the manual has downloaded. Am I missing something? I thought there would be a PDF file in the games directory, but I don't see it.

Any insights would be greatly appreciated!

For what it's worth there is a .pdf file in my PolMachine directory, so the download must have gone awry?

Thanks,trcanberra! I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the manual from Stardock Central before and it didn't work. I'm at a different internet cafe now, so I'll give it another try. If not, I guess I'll move on to another game.

Having the same problem. Did a search on my entire hard drive for *.pdf files and could not find it. Looked in the Stardock install log and it says it was install to the PolMachine directory. Emailed Customer Support about the issue. Is there anywhere else to get the manual? Does the demo come with the manual? I got my game from the Stardock game subscription.

The manual is a module of the game in Stardock Central. Select The Political Machine in the Games section and you'll see it has 2 modules below the base game install.

When I try to run the Manual the PolMachine directory comes up in an explorer window with no .pdf file in sight.

ltwalt: try unininstalling just the manual and re-installing it. Maybe there was an error during installation. If that doesn't work, e-mail me at Email and I'll just mail you a copy of the pdf.

Thanks, customer support emailed me a link on Friday. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling. That didn't work either. Weird.
