Ossian Studios has answered some questions regarding the latest Neverwinter Nights 2 adventure pack that they are developing. Alan Miranda, CEO of Ossian as well as Producer and Co-Lead Designer, Luke Scull, another Lead Designer and Kevin Smith, Lead Technical Designer all took some time out to detail Mysteries of Westgate.
In the Q&A session over at IGN the team discusses a wide range of NWN related information including companion characters, game authentication, AI, music, and crafting. The most telling piece of information comes from Kevin Smith who shoots down the chance of a solid co-op experience in the new pack. Smith said “MoW was designed to provide an excellent single-player experience. As such, we did not test co-operative gameplay, so I very much doubt that it would work.”
Shucks.
