Another round of updates for WinCustomize

Minor updates and fixes

Ok,.  I realize that if I am going to try and keep you informed of updates to the site I really need to create some sort of history log so I can remember what has been done instead of relying on my memory which isn't that great.  Anyway, here is what I can remember.

  • Award icons have been updated (thanks Mormegil, these are much better).  Still a few more to go
  • Award display updated
  • Header for Article Comments has been updated
    Added Personal Icon to header
    Updated Reply, Edit, Watch, Quote links to a new button look
  • Fixed: Recommendations page would display an error if you did not have any recommendations to show.
  • Stats page, Average Skin Rating was not updating and almost always was showing users as a Reasonable Critic.
    Fixed a couple errors in the code for this but I still need to look the code over more carefully to make sure it is working properly.
  • Fixed: Deleted posts were showing up in the Watch List
  • Fixed: Error when trying to create new site (If you get an error saying there was a problem creating the DNS, please send me an email and let me know what account you are using and the site name you were trying to create as I need to manually edit the DNS to fix this problem)

I think that is about it.  If there are any bugs that you have already reported and haven't been fixed can you please repost them here or send me an email to [email protected]  (other than the broken smiley images, got them on my list)

Would it be possible to set it up so that when the "WinCustomize" button is clicked, it takes you back to your own site, instead of the regular WinCustomize? Or else, put a home button of some sort in the top right corner so that we can get back to our sites easily?

Here are some more updates for today.

  • Header for Skin Comments has been updated
    Added Personal Icon to header
    Added Quote button
  • Fixed a problem with ratings being calculated incorrectly
  • Fixed: When uploading images get a "Your Nick Name contains illegal charactors." error
  • Fixed: Some smileys displaying as broken images

CereboJD, yes, that is on my list to do.  I am either thinking about making your name, where is says Welcome T-Man!, be a link or adding a new tab next to the My Account Tab/Link which will link you back to your personal page.

Hiya T-Man....Just found out about when you click on the downloads of a skin you get some cool stats Is it possible to add to those stats the skin's ranking in each of the different download totals being shown?

Also an idea for more custom icons....in conjunction with the skins themselves to signify that the skin was a featured skin on the WC frontpage....

Hiya T-Man If I have a skinner on my watchlist and he/she has a skin waiting approval, I can see the preview and I can comment/rate it....I can't download it.

The waiting approval skins still showing up. I've got 3 walls from two posted by an author on 10/3 and one from today 10/4 showing. Just letting you know
