Black screen problem

I have a brand new HP ZV5120US laptop.
Here are the specs:
Windows XP - Service Pack 1
Intel Celeron 2.8 GHz
384 MB RAM
ATI Mobility RADEON 9000 IGP - 128 MB
I have Directx9.0B and I installed the latest patch for the game.

I can see the intro, but then after that the screen goes black. There is an orange arrow cursor and I can hear the music playing. After the music stops I can't do anything on my computer.
Please help!

and install the ATI Radeon drivers there. Once you get to the website, click on Radeon, then Windows XP and then a list of download sites will appear.
