OK folks I have for the last year or so been sitting and reading, researching, writing and talking with many about America's current situation in Iraq and also on our war of Terrorism. I saw the 9/11 attack, the news feeds on the War in Iraq, and all the associated opinions. But not until yesterday did I get the full, in the face wake up call that I got yesterday. You see yesterday I watched the video of the American Hostage Eugene Armstrong being beheaded by the Terrorist/Animals in Iraq. The first of the two most recent kidnapped along with their British friend. Some have asked why did I watch it and my response has been one of curiosity and wanting to know our enemy.
I sat through the 8 minute plus video, listening to the Arabic reader. Although I do not know Arabic, I could tell by his tone he was arrogant and excited at the same time. I watched as the American in the orange jumpsuit sat in front of him on the floor. I could only guess at what was going through his mind at this point. Then after what seemed an eternity the man reading draws a knife and grabs the man by the hair, he is then assisted by another man who holds the Americans head back exposing his throat and trying to hold his mouth closed.
The man with the knife begins to saw at the mans neck from the front, blood gushes everywhere, the man screams in horror and pain and continues to scream for several minutes, in fact he screams even after his neck is half severed and his windpipe is severed, I begin to wonder if they are ever going to finish, to end this mans ungodly suffering, his screams become gutural and animal like. He finally either passes out or dies just before the spine is severed and his screams stop. His head is displayed as a trophey by the killers.
I sat and stared at the end of the video as the man held the head in his hands. I thought how could one human being do this to another over idealogical and religious reasons. A million things began to go through my mind. They do this they say in the name of Islam? Is Islam such a religion as to drive its followers to this animalistic act? Is Islam a religion that promots this type of murder? Are these Terrorist trying to scare America into leaving Iraq by making us fearful of this same fate? My anger began to rise as I thought about what they had done to my fellow American. I began to think about what can we do to these peole that they would understand as punishment? What do they understand? What level of human feelings do they function on????
I began to think these are not men, they are not even human. They are nothing more than animals who because they are in groups and are armed and feel safe they think they can do these terrible things to other humans and get away with it. They see other countries pull their troops out of Iraq because of this tactic, they see people fearful of them because they are so brutal. Well the video had just the opposite effect on me. If anything it made my resolve to stand behind my Governments choice to invade Iraq even stronger. It made my stance to support our troops even stronger. It made my feelings of rage rise to the level that I think I would be capable of killing one of these animals just as they did my fellow American. Shooting them would be to painless for them, bombing them would be to quick and painless also. But I also realize what seperates me and those I know from these Animals? We would never do the same thing they did to my fellow American. Well that point has disappeared. I think I could kill them now the same way. I could lower myself to their level. There comes a point where they drive a person to counter their tactics with like tactics.
I say bomb them into oblivion, kill their fellow animals in front of them and let them watch. Kill them all and wipe their animal ilk from the face of the earth. If we don't want to do this they have won. They have won because we will not fight back with the same ferocity and force. Well we will and we should. Genocide? No only the criminal animals. I say its time to fight back with the same tactics they are using. In the middle of the night, raid their house, and kill them where they are found. Drag their body out into the streets and hang them from the bridges and post signs on them, "THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS TO THOSE WHO KILL AMERICANS."
Am I angry? YOU BET! Am I tired of people dying? YOU BET! Am I willing to lower myself to their level to end the problem? YOU BET! Am I afriad of the Terrorist? NO NO NO NO. Are they going to rule my life with the fear they try to generate? NO NO NO NO. Am I willing to die for my country? YES! As long as I take one or more of those bastards with me.
EVERY AMERICAN SHOULD WATCH THE VIDEO, see what they are doing and what they are like and you then tell me there is no reason for this war.
