The exciting Saturday

Here is a little bit of what happened yesterday.
I spent basically my whole day with the soccer team (not that I didn’t like it, just that it was a long day!) We had a game against Lakewood at 1:00. We all met at the school at 11 in the morning and loaded the bus with all of our soccer crap. It was a long ride up there, maybe 45 minutes. When we got there, it was very nice soccer weather, clear skies with a cool breeze.
The Lakewood girls were rough. Jessica and number 17 started yelling at each other (Which was pretty funny, I was laughing). It started out where one of their girls pushed Heather down right outside the 18. Me and Jessica heard Dusty yell from the sideline, “Come on ref! Make them play the ball, not the player!!!” Number 17 came back and said, “Hey, it’s the Ref’s decision on if he’ll call it or not, and he didn’t. Therefore it didn’t happen.” Jessica was like, “Yes it did! He should have called that.” The girl came back and basically said, “It’s over, shut up!” Jessica was angry, not for long though… she was going to get her back!
Emily Meyer, she has to be one of the sweetest girls I know. But when she was on a soccer field, she is KICKASS!!!! She is AWESOME! Now, her and Double 0 both went for an air ball. Emily and her put equal pressure on each other. The girl basically looked at her and gradually fell down, giving them a direct kick because “Number 2 was being too rough.” Well, the girl got up from the ground and pushed Emily. Emily didn’t do anything, until later on in the game when she totally knocked her OUT!!! Man, it looked like she sacked her good!
I started to have severe asthma on the field (I am very asthmatic and use my inhaler at least 3 times a game.). I literally couldn’t breathe, so I got down on both knees. Jessica ran up and got down on her knees and was trying to get me to calm down. Jess (Our other coach) and Dusty need to understand that when I get asthma, it doesn’t take me long to recuperate. I just need my inhaler and some water and I will be all right for another 10 minutes.
I also got sacked by this girl, I thought that I cracked my pelvis bone. It hurt so bad.
Jessica also got asthma. When she dropped to her knees, I ran out on the field, got behind her and tried to get her to breath too. I love Jessica to death, we are always there for each other on and off the field.
Sadly, we lost the game 3-4. But, we were down 1-4 in the first half and one the second half 2-0.
At 5:00 the same day, we met at Tommy Wayne’s, had pizza, and went to a Crew game!!! Our team and the younger girls’ MOSSL (Mid-Ohio Select Soccer League) team got to make the tunnel that the Crew came out of. It was an amazing experience. Me and Emily were at the end of the line with Dusty, and Dusty specifically told us, “Do not grab the players you two, I mean it!” It was great! I talked to Emily most of the way up and back about everything. I had a little “interview” with Megan and Emily about what it’s like being twins. And me and Emily talked about our “experiences” during the year that we didn’t see each other (the past year). I told her about my faulty relationship and she told me hers. And the best advice that I gave her was, “Never, ever waste your first kiss. Make sure it is with someone who you really care about.” I think that she really considered my advice.
I love my soccer girls. They are like my sisters. And despite our differences in personality and social status, when we are on that field… we play as one person, one unit, one team.
