Shane Braisdell, is 29, and married happily. He lives in Wigan England. At the moment Shane is selling his friendship on eBay. Here's the price list;
For 99p you can buy the basic 'silver' package which can include a birthday card, monthly e-mails, and a certificate confirming the friendship.
For £30, Shane will solve your problems and send cookery tips, weekly e-mails, and film reviews.
If bids reach £70 Shane will send monthly video clips of his life. He will give out his mobile number so a friend can text him - with a guaranteed response to every message.
If bids go over £400, Shane promises a 30 minute web cam chat every month. And he will take out an advert in a local paper of the winning bidders choice, saying that he is their best friend.
For £500, Shane will send his new friend a DVD of his choice each month.
These friendship packages last 12 months.
I wish this wasn't true but it really is. What is the world coming to when you can buy a friendship, that sounds alot like what an e-magazine will send you for free every month. Would you really want it advertised that you had bought yourself a friend. I think the world has gone insane, I really do.
