Woodrow Wilson is the Devil

Anyone have a suggestion as to how I can beat Woodrow Wilson with George W. Bush? I can't seem to get past him, regardless of what I do. In fact, I haven't made it past like week 35, because he's too strong for me to make a comeback (regardless of sm's and sd's)...

Please give me any help you can.

1. Build level 3 headquarters in Texas, California, and New York. Then, build regular HQs in Florida, Illinois, Pennsylvania, and Ohio. Do this until you can't build anymore.
2. For the next several turns, build capital until you have enough to win endorsements. Go for the Christian one, Business, Tax, Homeland Security, and Gun. Those are the best for a Republican candidate. If you want, go for the others, especially if Wilson takes a few.
3. By the time you've won the endorsements, you should have tons of money flowing in from the HQs. Build some more, then start making ads.

I miss the point of building level 2+ HQs. Except that you don't waste money/stamina moving to another state. But then you're likely not to win those other states.
As stated, endorsements are good to have. Also note the Environment one can help you a lot in California.
Prefer TV ads on national issues. If your opponent is high on a topic in a given state, make some speeches to make that issue less important than one where you are better.
Use a webmaster to lower costs of your TV ads in the state where they cost most. In the end of the game, buy smearmerchants and spindoctors to tip key states (and fixers in case you need them).
I also tend to buy an operative to increase awareness in 2 or 3 states where I do not plan to go but that the opponent didn't waste money on a HQ either.
