Bush: OB-GYNs Kept from 'Practicing Their Love'
President Bush offered an unexpected reason on Monday for cracking down on frivolous medical lawsuits: "Too many OB-GYNs aren't able to practice their love with women all across this country."
George Bush stands up for the little man, so to speak.

Because of insurance being so high for doctors, small private practices are being drowned out from the medical community. I expect Bush to provide lip service on this issue, but little actual policy to follow...

True, and we know Kerry has already decided on what he is going to do about it when he chose Edwards.

Everyone hates the trial lawyers until they need one.

I thought you meant Ambulance Chaser, well of course I will like a trial lawyer when I am on trial, but should we just forget the lawyer's record that helped to increase the mal-practice lawsuit liability coverage up and up even for 'Good' doctors, public records speak a lot, and Edwards is calling Bush bad for medical, seems like a classic case of the analogy of the pot calling the kettle black.

Definitely a bad choice of words, but I agree with the intent of it. I'm sure people will oppose it though when John "Ambulance Chasing" Edwards makes a speech against it with his charisma.

Sorry, couldn't resist.

Kerry, speaking in Ann Arbor: "I'm all about Buckeye Football!" I'm paraphrasing, but he said as much.

So, they can both give Jay & Dave material - what's your point?

Cheers,

I'm surprised he even made it out of that event alive after that....

So when your daughter drowns in a pool with a faulty drain, you don't want the big company to pay for that though they contributed to your daughter's death (actual case Edwards won). I don't know what you are thinking, picking on lawyers has always been fun for a few laughs, but when they're sticking up for the common citizen? Looks like somebody has been sitting in front of the propaganda box again..

I had to laugh when i read this misstatement by Bush...ive never claimed every word out of his mouth was a jewel of wisdom, hehe.

Its ironic, though, that Edwards made millions by going after doctors who wanted the babies they delivered to be born alive and healthy, but had something go wrong, yet he supports partial birth abortion, where the doctors DONT want those babies born alive, and in fact, deliberately kill them by inserting a sharp object into the back of their skull before the rest of them slides out of the birth canal, which would make it murder.

Then again, whats another hypocrite to serve as #2 to the biggest hypocrite of all?

Here, here LW, WAY TO GO!!!! Of course this could be because I am one of those right-wingers!

Well quit sitting in front of the box, if you know you are there quit sitting in front of it.

Find me a link on all of John Edwards cases, because I want to look into it, and if I can't find a single case in which that may have been the wrong course of action. As for the faulty drain bit, that has nothing to do with his attack on Medical Companies and Doctors, that has to do with a pool manufacturer and the family (which I think should have been won by the family and it was), when I say "Ambulance Chaser" I mean something pertaining to Medical Lawsuits, come on get out of front of that box and point to a case that is relevant to what I stated before.

If that was one of the cases he had, then kudos to him. He did some good. Were such cases the majority, and if not, does that justify his frivolous lawsuits?

I am not your personal gopher, find the link yourself. The pool drain case was recently talked about in the Kansas City Star (Sunday Ed. Sept 5), part of a larger segment reporting on Edwards' financial disclosure.

Ooooh. Only comments pertaining to medical lawsuits, now I understand! Here I was thinking this was a more open topic. My bad, buddy! Didn't mean to "hijack the thread".

Messy Buu understands what I was getting at. I don't know if such cases were the majority but I don' t believe that a lawyer as successful as he (over 35 million dollars has been made by him on cases during his career) makes that much money bringing forth frivolous lawsuits.

You know me, not a kind person to abortion proponents, but I don't believe Edwards shows inconsistancy or hypocrisy here. Ironic, yes.

Response to the original post: If my wife's gynecologist "practiced his love" on my wife, I think I'd be "practicing my left hook" on him....THEN I'd go after damages.

My partner had a good response to the original quote:

"And Kerry's tying up all the proctologists around the country trying to get his head out of his ass."

When it comes to answering my question with an answer that is irrelevant to the question asked, so therefore maybe the question asked should be rephrased into the proper context so that the answer given would be relevant instead irrelevant to the question asked in the first place so that both parties will be able to read and answer the question rephrased in the proper context so that the original answer was relevant to the original question, but the new answer would than constitute that the new question be rephrased so that the new answer will be relevant to the new question, and so that the first question must take on board not only the relevancy of the first answer but the second answer as well, and than the answers must be rewarded and upgraded into English XP so that the show relevance to the subject aforementioned by the original question's intent, and not the new rephrased for proper content first question in such a way that once an answer is given to the second question one can clearly see that the answer was relevant to the original question as well, but we also must take into consideration the variables of a possible third question and answer which will repeat the process so that relevancy to the answers given is maintained.

As for the first answer, it was the pool drain, as for the first question, it was Ambulance Chaser and medical lawsuits, which we will have to be rephrased to Medical Drain Chaser with pool suits of ambulance law.

You put the burden of proof on yourself when you stated that John Edwards was not a Medical Drain Chaser with pool suits of ambulance law.
Either he is or he is not, if you want to argue about a propaganda box go right ahead, but still means that in your arguement supporting that Kerry was not a Wang Fang Winkee Doodler that you don't show adequate support to the contrary of him being a Tang Jane Slurper Klooppet. If you cannot prove that he did not Drain Medical Lawsuits with Chasing Ambulances than we should not have this matookie wookie debatin' conver train station way shun.

If you want to debate if I am a nutter or not, we can do that as well, but once again the burden of proof is on your accusation that I am what I am and that is not Popeye the Sailor Man.

Umm. No. I provided the source for the pool drain bit, whatever more you derived from that is your problem, not mine. I did attempt to read your response, but gathered only so much from your rather convoluted grammer. I think I've been very plain. Thank you, please drive through.

Thank you, it took a while to put that convoluted junk together. I tried to keep it sane, but it just comes out as a big joke to me, I was laughing about half way through til I got finished on it, you can thank some past engineering efforts and such for what amounts to a paragraph long run on sentence.

I will search into Edwards's cases just to see if he was "Ambulance Chaser", and if he is I wlll make sure to enlighten us both on that fact.

Thank you, please drive through.

But I wanted Fries and a Shake with that order!!!!!
