government bigotry

In 2000, what makes me mad is that bush played racial bigotry against john mccain. Bush and them said that mccain had a black baby where he only adopted a kid from india. They were saying that he had a black baby, they said in south carolina where you know it is racist down there. So they are saying it is wrong for a white guy to have a black baby? They must mean that a white must have a white and black must have a black baby and a latino must have a latino baby. So I guess they are against interracial marriage.

Then he put pictures of max cleland with osama bin laden and Saddam to make it look like he is a terrorist , he ended up losing cause of that. It is disgusting why someone would support bush for what he did.

Gore won the election by 539,898 votes nationwide but loses. You get the most votes you deserve to win. Bush is a selected president which is why the electoral college has got to go. And he screwed the vote in florida. Jeb and katherine harris denied former felons where they already served their time the right to vote which was mostly blacks. They even denied blacks who weren't even felons to vote cause they thought that they would vote democrat. And if they did let the blacks vote, then gore probably would have won florida cause Bush only won that state by 500 some votes.

Dick Cheney voted against releasing Nelson Mandela where he served 20 years for being black. He was in jail just because he was black which is another racist thing that happened.

Um, Hello? I've gotta find the links of these to prove it, but you did know that...

A: Dead People Voted in Florida!
B: People voted in several counties...
C: People in Nursing Homes voted? I mean what the heck? If you don't know who your grandkid is, how should you have the ability to vote for President?
and E: They did not count the Military vote!

Dan Rather claimed Florida before even half the votes were counted. How stupid is that?

And also that absentee votes were not counted, but the points you just said are true. The book stupid white men has this , written by Michael Moore, but the mcccain thing is true and so is the max cleland thing. Just look it up on the internet.

You have a lot to learn about people in nursing homes. There are many there who are not incapable of making an informed decision, and they are citizens with a right to vote. This is a shameful addition to your list of people who voted that you feel shouldn't have.

okay. I put that in the wrong way. But seriously, don't you think they should have to be conscious and stuff? Yes, people in nursing homes should be able to vote, but I do think they should have to know the name of the man running before they vote for him!

I mean seriously, I know way too many people who have no idea who is running at all, they just ask "Who's Democratic?" And they vote. (I'm sure there are some that vote straight republican, no matter who it is as well).

So fine, I take the nursing homes thing back then. But the other stuff is true, and I do think you should have to be fully conscious of your surroundings and know who's running before you vote!

Catechumen, you don't really think that is a problem with Elder, do you? What does knowing a name serve you, if you don't know the candidates' policy plans. How many people you know who are voting for John Kerry really know his policy. I believe most people are voting based on "he is not George W. Bush". That is the same logic.

Fluffy and Fido in Fla also voted.

Gore won the election by 539,898 votes nationwide but loses.

I think it was MUCH lower than that, or FLA voting fiasco would be largely ignored because Gore won by huge following. Please correct me via in least 2 proof.

Instances of voter fraud are nation wide, and California is just one large state that has a much larger problem, because of population size with voter fraud. So far I haven't heard a single candidate talk about voter fraud or making it easier for our Military soldiers to vote. As for losing, Electoral College, it's there for a reason, and you can argue it's not, but it is. The reason the founding fathers put it on paper and made sure we utilize it for a President, so that each state has a fair representation, otherwise the most populus states could dictate who was president, and you would not see a single candidate in any other states but the most populus ones. Also pretty much that Half a Mil number most of it comes from, if not all, California, talk about a state that could eliminate states from a "Popular" Vote election just with a single city or county. President is a Federal Executive who is leader of all the states, it is only fair that each state get fair representation in selecting the President, and the Popular vote would eliminate it.

Still I want all Candidates to look into:
1. Voter Fraud, it is widespread throughout the United States (from multiple voter regristrations, to dead people voting, to dogs and cats with their say, etc.)
2. Military Voting, this should be a no-brainer, voting should be made easier for U.S. Military Soldiers, and their families, even those abroad, like the soldiers in Iraq, Afghanistan, Germany, Korea, Guam, etc.

As I will keep saying for as long as I live, George Washington in his last speech said to "forswear excessive party spirit (his words, not mine)" and to recitify the problems with our current political system all parties should be taken down, and a return to nothing but the issues should be done, alas it is a dream of mine, but one can dream can't one?

It's in nature of humans to create and work in groups. That is remarkably supressed in USA, but it will still exist. I was thinking about that and it could be nice to have lack of parties.

Once your a "felon" that's it! Your voting priveliges are out the window, along with alot of other stuff. Like the right to own a firearm.

Yeah, if you commit a crime, I don't think you should be able to pick our president.

Also, you're right, alot of people vote for Kerry because he's not Bush. It's just sad.
