I don't know how to install K-Tek clock and K-media

Hi. Well I have at least installed K-Tek steel skin with window blinds, that was easy. But I've tried to install these other things with desktopX, and I'm not doing something right. There's tons of png, bmp and ini files in the zips.. Is there some easy way that desktopX will install it all to my desktop? Thanks. edit: sorry, I meant to post this in the beginners forum.

Ah, don't worry, I've installed them ok now. Though another one called DX_Deep BlueClock is giving me trouble. I renamed .zip to dxpack, so, DX_DeepBluerClock.dxpack , and imported it into objects. When I click on it, it doesn't appear on the desktop like the others did. If I click on it again, it gives a message about how the object ID is already in use. So I dunno about that one..

This is not really a support forum for desktopx. Try Wincustomize.org ?

Oh I see. There's a million threads about desktopX and object X, and you know nothing about it to help a beginner? And I had to say this place sucks just to get a reply. Lol, nice one mate.

It's a place where people write articles about DesktopX. It's not a support forum. If you had gone to Desktopx.net and clicked on news gropus and asked a question odds are you would have had an answer in an hour or less.

How the fuck would I know that? Why don't you guys admit it. You haven't got a fucking clue about how desktopX works.
