BUG? Won't save in campaign mode after 2nd election win.

Hi. Before I started my campaign mode game, I downloaded & installed the update. Then, I created a campaign mode game and saved it after playing for a while. My fiance then created a quickplay game and saved it as a different file than mine. Today, I was playing my campaign mode game and after I beat my second opponent (Aunold), I tried to save it but the save button was grayed out and said "Wait" instead of "Save". I waited for a while, but it never turned to save so I then tried to back out and hit the "Turn" button on the map, which brought up the election night statistics screen. I then hit the "Campaign" button, which kicked me out to the campaign screen....only the candidate had then switched to my fiance's candidate. I then tried to reload my campaign, only to find that I then had to re-beat Arnold and encounter the same save problem. Anyone have any fixes for this?
