Question on Vice Presidents

I have searched the forum and the manual (to no avail, maybe I missed it though) and I am still thoroughly confused on what is a good Vice President pick. Does anyone have any tips for who to pick as Vice President?

I tend to pick a VP that has traits that are strong where my canidate lakes. For example I created a custom democrat, but left the experience collum at 1 so I could invest the trait points elsewhere, when the VP pick comes, I choose Bill Clinton for his max experience to lower the endorcement costs. Also VP canidates with a high money rating boost your warchest more. It is all dependant on what you find more important to your campaign.
