Banking Stamina?

One of the "Tips" when the game launches recommends banking remaining, unusable stamina at the end of the turn. How do I bank remaining stamina?

According to the tip you don't have to do anything except not spend all your stamina. Ive never gotten the stamina increase the tip mentions, not even sure if it made it into the final release.

That feature is in the game. However I think there is a maximum amount that you can bank at at time, and I believe it is 2 points.

How do you bank your stamina then? It has yet to carry over for me.
