I really can't get MP to work on LAN

Can someone pls help? I bought this game so that my sister and I can play in on our LAN and it just won't create a gam. We've tried it on stardock.com as well but any game I create doesn't even show up.

I've opened a #2509 port and I've disabled my firewall in SP2 and still nothing. Could it be because we're using the same CD?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Are the two of you behind the router? If so clear the IP address field and then host the game. Now you should see the game. Doing that will look on the local network for the game.
