Help on interviews

How do I get local interviews? I see when the national interviews come up, but I don't see this "interview button". Also, how do I get more money. I'm George W. Bush on the game and Gephart keeps spending about 3 or 4 times as much as me. Thanks to all who reply.

I have been wondering about this also. I've never found the "interview button". I do know that you can get more money by clicking the "fund raising" button.

There is no interview button, it's an inconsistancy between manual and game. There is no local media in general. The only interviews are the national camera ones.

Ah I see, that is weird, but it makes sense. I also found out about the usefulness of HQ's in terms of money.
