I would like to say thanks as well. I've paid almost as much money for other games that had devs who only communicated through corporate PR on their website. Devs who either due to not caring, or publisher pressure, only released one bugfix patch and then ran away never to touch the project again. Devs who because of publisher pressure wound up releasing unfinished products as "final builds"...
So, it's a breath of fresh air to have a dev who doesn't mind communicating directly with the fans and who, because he's head hancho, gets to say when and how much support the game will get.
I've paid more for GalCiv than I usually do for a game, but based on past experience with Stardock, I know I can count on continued support
