FrogBoy: "Candidates must have two names" Error

This is in another post as well, but I wanted to post it again since it's rather frustrating and I don't know how to get around it.

When I try to create a new candidate, the screen comes up with a box called "Name". I enter a name (first, then a space, then last), then when I try to continue it says candidates must have a first and a last name.

The other thread had replies saying "there are two name boxes", but trust me, there's one box only...it says "Name". I'm hoping Frogboy can help me out here.

Are you sure you aren't getting it confused with the box where you enter the player name, as in what you want to be called as a manager? Because that only has one box.

Nope...that's beside the point really...I mean I just want to get past the creation screen, but I can't because I get the "must enter two names" error...even though there's only one "Name" box...and even though I entered a first and last name in that box.

The name area looks like an hourglass on its side. The first half of the hourglass is for the first name. You then have to click on the second part of it to enter a last name.

Yeah, I mean that's it. You DO have two boxes, because that is the way the screen was designed. You can't just have one. You MUST be looking at the wrong one. Because while it is possible you get an error when entering the two names, your insistance that there is just one box is impossible.

Here is a screen shot of what screen should be causing the error:

You need to have a name in both fields.
