Political Machine Download

I just purchased the game online but cannot download it. That was the whole reason I purchased the game "online"! I hope the reason we can't dowload the program is because TotalGaming.com wants us to purchase the $89.00 membership!

I like the idea of being able to download your purchase online, but what good is the online purchase method if now you can't download.

Anyway sorry for getting upset at this but was really looking forward to playing the game this eveing. Thought I would purchase it now and save me a trip to the store...

Oh well, should have known.

The stand alone game isn't available for on-line download at this time.  You have to purchase a TotalGaming.net subscription.

I've followed this issue for a while, and it seems to be an issue with the agreement with Ubisoft. Stardock apparently had to make a number of compromises to get Ubisoft to work with them on this, including copy-protection, and probably this.

Thanks guys! I should've read the Faq and some of the posts on here before I post about this. Was just dishearted that I couldn't get the game right then.

Hopefully I will recieve it in the the mail within the next few days and will enjoy, even though I had to wait a few more days
