Windows XP SP2 Problems

Just as a heads up, even if you set the new Windows Firewall to see stardock central as an exception, it will not connect. You will get 1001 errors. You need to turn off the firewall whenever you want to find updates for SD Central and all the games.

I might have jumped the gun on this one. The last time I ran SD, it connected, and I still had the firewall on and in place. Regardless, I think you'll have to set sdcentral.exe as an exception in the firewall. It won't prompt you like it does about other programs that try to connect to the 'net.

You just need to add Polmachine, and Directplay to the Exceptions list, and The SP2 Firewall should be good to go.
