Huge Glitch in 1.01 version of Game

I just installed the 1.01 version yesterday, and today I went to play it and I am George Herbert Walker Bush playing against Dick Gephardt the game starts off fine, plays normal then right about the 17th week after I have built probably 15 or so HQ maybe more and been endorsed by 3 PAC's Taxes, NAACP, and i think ACLU I get my points needed and try to go for a fourth and the game crashes to the desktop, so I go in load the game from auto save try it again same thing, I play a few more weeks its like 27 or so now and I try to get endorsed once again and the game crashes once again.
Anyone who has a fix or possible solution or has had this happen aswell please post

We have seen some reports of a crash on endorsement. We're not sure what causes it (since it doesn't happen for us). It is definitely an odd thing.

Two things:

1) Send [email protected] your debug.err file when that happens.

2) VIsit https://www.stardock.com/products/smartexception and download SmartException and install/run it.  When/if that happens, send us the .cra file.

I wish I had a better answer for you. We're as stumped as you are. Endorsements, programmatically are very simple (i.e. they just increment some stats). So we're not sure why that would happen to some people.
