The biggest problem that I have is that .......

I load the game and I'm able to play it just fine. After I quit and come back, I cannot play the game.

No states appear for anyone. It will say: "George Bush from " or "John Edwards from "

When I try to make a player, the scroll down box for states is blank.

If I just ignore it and try to play with anyone, as soon as I choose to start a game, the game closes and won't start.

Additionally, I cannot load ANY saved game. I can save just fine but can't load any game.

So...the only option that I have is to uninstall and reinstall the game. I have tried it with the patch and without it, but nothing works. To say that this is anoying is a gigantic understatement. Is there anything that I can do to fix this or am I stuck?

So, I take it I'm the only one with this problem? Seems awefully strange to me.

Well I just downloaded the update so I don't know if this will be fixed or not but the one problem I was having was when I would go into the win endorsements section it would just shut the game right down and go out to windows. It was kind of a pain I could never win any endorsements.

MPO, please send your debug.err file to [email protected] so we can take a better look at it. It almost sounds like the data files are being corrupted. If you reinstall the game over top of the old one does that help?

I would gladly do it if I knew how . I could use a little help?

I have uninstalled it completely, reinstalled it a number of times, tried to fix it, tried it with the patch, tired it without the new patch. Everything in the game workds fine. But I can only play it once. After I close the program I cannot load a saved game, start a new game and none of the states appear below the candidates names.

The debug.err file is in the \Program Files\Ubisoft\stardock\polmachine\ folder. Simply write me an email ([email protected]) explaining what is happening and what you have tried and attach that file to the email.
