Here's what's new:

New Features:

  • Added function for Saving and Loading games
  • Added customization of candidate and portraits in multiplayer
  •  Save and Load capability
  •  Custom candidate and portraits in multiplayer
  • Lobby in Multiplayer

Enhancements:

  • Updated election data and minor tweaks to character stats and issues
  • Multiplayer scoring enhanced to account for the game speed
  • New interface for seeing online players
  • Snail pace was slowed down considerably and the players wouldn’t see a countdown timer.*
  •  Now allows for Player Name to be changed while in Find Game Screen.
  • Removed Intro Movie when playing in windowed mode.
  • Will no longer allow you to create two new candidates with the same name.
  •  Minor tweaks to character stats and issues
  •  Multiplayer scoring enhanced to account for the game speed
  •  New interface for seeing online players.
  • Tweaks for DirectX for greater compatibility

Bugs Fixed:

  •  Corrected assorted typos.
  •  Fixed TV Show window that was showing up over Main Menu if you backed out during gameplay.
  •  Fixed Player Name to always display even when restarting a new game.
  •  Fixed potential crash at end of multiplayer games.
  •  Fixed 'double text' bug when chatting in Multiplayer menu.
  •  Fixed two or more webmasters in a state giving you money
  •  Fixed campaign ladder mode potentially displaying all the unlocked candidates
  •  Fixed report of clicking or double clicking on textfields crashing
  •  Fixed where custom candidates weren’t always sent across the net in multiplayer
  •  Fixed where candidates with a 0 for personal attributes were internally given 5
  •  addition of a missing string for the end-game summary screen
  • -updated readme to reference firewalls and network play at the top of the readme
  • -updated readme to indicate Minor tweaks to character stats and issues
  • Creating 2 new candidates with the same name
  • Hijacked TV Show window shows up over main menu

I see nothing about being not able to build ads or HQ's after a certain point in the game, or not being able to delete currently running ads. Also the problem of states being called wrong (where you can be winning 55-45 in a state and still have it count towards your opponent). Those are 3 very big issues.

The states being called wrong was had to do with some of the none customizable personal issuses being set to 0. This has been fixed in this build. As for the other 2 issues, I think they are taken care off as well.

I went there, put in my email address and hit the submit button, but got a ms. that the address was invalid(!?). When will this be available through Stardock Central?

I got a different error message, something about a temp mail file not being able to be made.

I also clicked the submit button after I entered each one of my e-mail addresses and got an error message stating that I should try back at a different time. I am not happy about this since I see that other people have had the same problem and that we have purchased a game from this company with the thought in mind that it will take care of any issues that occur from programming errors and the like. A swift correction to this problem is preferred - thank you.

I know you guys have been taking a lot of flack lately but I gotta say, as someone that has spent most of his online game playing dealing with Sony (not in EQ) you guys are a a class above. Some of us do appreciate the work.

Please. I really need it badly. My cursor has a problem. I have a different space cursor though because I have an XP Plus! Space thingy. Should I change my cursor???
