Virtual PC 6 Problems???Please HELP???

I currently own and run a 17in Powerbook G4 1GHZ w/ 1GB of ram
it runs a Nvidia Geforce4 MX card
I bought Virtual PC to play PC games on my mac, and have had relative success including The Sims, President 4 Ever, Rollercoaster Tycoon and some others of high 3d rendering and so on.
I bought The Political Machine today (august 16, 2004) and installed it on my Virtual PC6 Windows XP, No Problem, I then installed Direct X9 no problem, I restarted the PC and logged back in and the CD autoplay kicked on I then selected play the game from the menu, the screen went away and another with a big logo of the political Machine came up loaded for a sec went away, then just as another screen was begining to bootup a little error message came up saying :
The Political Machine 1.0.0
"Failed to Initilize Display"
Since then I have restarted several times and attempted to open again several times each time ending with the same conclusion
Does anyone have any recommendations or possible fixes for this
