Unfortunately, my dear, *you* are pregnant. However, if he likes it or not, if he is the father then he will be involved, even if only monetarily. Paternity tests aren't too hard to have done to prove that the father is the father.
Maybe he just need time to think about the situation. Hopefully you have thought of a back up plan in case he really is just an ass and won't take responsibility.
However, if he really is that big of an ass, you probably are better off without him. Who wants to be with somebody who doesn't trust them?
