Bug: AI picks himself as Running Mate?

In my first campaign game, General Clark picked himself as a running mate.

I assume this is a bug.

I found it very telling when Dick Cheney chose himself as running mate. Who else would he pick?

Same thing can be said for Bill Clinton. Just played a game last night where he still picked himself, His favorite person.
