On August 10 The Political Machine began shipping.  What this means is literally the manufactured retail units began shipping from the manufacturer to stores and other resellers.

If you pre-ordered just The Political Machine after June 1, we expect to receive our boxes imminently at which point your orders will get charged and units sent out to you.

If you pre-order just The Political Machine before June 1, we should have the gold version available via Stardock Central for you to download right now while we wait for the retail boxes to arrive from Ubi Soft to send to you.  If you've lost your serial #, visit https://www.stardock.com/support.asp and type in your email addresss and it'll send you your information.

If you purchased a TotalGaming.net subscription then it should be available right now for download.

If you have any questions, post here and we'll try to answer as soon as possible.

All pre-orders shipped Thursday. That means everybody who either pre-ordered a CD copy directly from us or ordered a CD though about noon Thursday.

Orders from the last 24 hours (since noon Thursday) were shipped out this afternoon. 

Any orders since ~2pm EST on Thursday are for the CD + the download links for the Political Operatives Kit. You cannot download the standalone game like the people who pre-ordered, so you must wait for the CD to arrive to install. Your serial number for the Political Operatives Kit installer (linked with your order) will not work in Stardock Central. I'll have SDC modified to explain that.

In the context of the last couple of posts here, having checked the order records, that means Chappy44 and ggibas, you have to wait for the CD's to arrive.

Called the local EB store yet again today, finally got someone competent on the line. He said the game was no longer on their list of games to be received and he had no idea when they would be getting it in.

Every other "release date" I've ever seen has been the day the game was in stores - I think saying August 10th was dishonest at best, but what can you expect from a game entitled "Political Machine?" The spin regarding the release is certainly reflective of American politics today.

I just got back from the local Best Buy here in Lansing, Michigan and they had quite a few copies of the game. It's installing on my computer as I type this message.

I called EB today, and like was just said, they said it was off the coming soon list, was on the way, and should be on the shelves early-mid next week.

So you're one of "those" customers who likes to call everyday... As someone who works in retail I must tell you how annoying us employees think that is, and how rude it is. I especially hate it when people complain over the phone about slow service, it's like, hey, we're taking care of customers who cared enough to actually come down to the store so phone people come second. Well I am done with my rant. I really hope you don't call them on a daily basis and it was a joke (which I assume due to the smiley).

I found the game at Walmart in Indiana, Pa. about 60 miles from Pittsburgh, Pa. Great game Go Bush Goooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!

I just got the game today from Best Buy in Lansdale, Pa. Its AWESOME!!! It will take me awhile to get good at It though. I lost to Kery as W. Bush. And I was on the easyest setting!

As someone else who works in retail and has for many years, I must tell you that I was only kidding I did call back again today, and they said it was shipping to them and they would have it out tomorrow. But as I see Big Bad Bear just got it at Best Buy I may call them and see if they've got it and go pick it up right now

Didn't have time to get to Best Buy before I got off work, but I stopped by Wal-Mart, and they had it.

Installing now, can't wait to try it out!
