Many of you over the years have played the awesome game, Axis and Allies.
It’s an awesome RISK on steroids, conquer the world kind of
game, where you split up the major WWII powers, and go hellbent on world
domination. It’s an awesome game, but I have an idea for a more modern
edition….Axis of Evil and Allies
One side is made up of “Coalition” forces. The Coalition
sign will be the American flag… All Coalition forces and industry will be
supplied by America.
All countries conquered by the “Coalition” will lose what
little factories they had, which will have to be rebuilt by the Coalition at
three times the usual price…
Axis powers will consist of Iraq, Iran, North Korea, and
points to be selected randomly around the world by use of an Al Qaeda spinner.
A Major Difference will be the addition of a
“noncommittal” neutral bloc, headed by Russia and France, who will have no
capabilities in the game except for extraneous kibitzing, and if they roll a
six, will be able to hold back American forces from fighting, instead using
ineffectual sieges, and pleadings through the use of sometimes-sympathetic
Muslim clerics for a duration of no more than one term.
Every four turns is election turn…all that Coalition players
can do is yell insults at each other and try not to select a new leader that
wants to stop playing the game and go sulk.
By the last turn, everyone in North Korea starves, Kim Chong
Il laughs and blows up Japan with his nukes.
Axis powers will have the ability to strike anyplace, during
anyturn….they already have.
Signing off, Spc. Nobody Special….
P.S. Good luck with your game tonight, Sgt. Talisein….death to the assclowns.
