Well I just stumbled on to here. I was at stardock and ended up here. Looking around I see alot of interesting things. But I'm totally lost. I can't seem to find a help list or user guid. I don't even know what a blog is. Can you tell me a good place to start.

Hi there, Patrick Ford.
I hope to use this forum as developing my "new" habit of writing for 15 minutes every day. I find, so far that I'm rather lost. THe only thing I have noticed is that it takes a long time for my machine to click from one spot on the site to another. I'm probably impatient.

Hi Pat,

I can't seem to create a new article at my site. I've tried looking around here, but I can't seem to identify any kind of help file or page. Kind of like pegb2. I've been clicking around reading articles, replying and I end up getting lost .

I'd appreciate your help if available.

I need help. I had to change my email address. I like to track certain articles and I get notices by email when a new comment to those articles comes up. I have looked everywhere in my account to see if there is any place to change email addresses and I can't find any. When I try to get into my account, I get a page that says that I must log in first. I don't know how to log in. Where do Iog in. I realize that joeuser is still in the Beta stages but if anyone out there can help me, I sure would appreciate it.

To post an image, when in the editor click on the "Link" button, and then enter the URL to an image.

You can post an Article to your site by clicking on the "Create New Article" link located in the gray My Account box in the corner.  Or if you are posting from the forums you can use the drop down for "Select a Site" to post your article to your blog site.

How do I utilize the referral option? Why does it say that I am not authorized when I try to create a new article sometimes?

I notice that many people have a place on their blog...to the right side where they post their favorite blogs on Joe User. How do you do that?

I concur. Is blog sort of an acronym for something like B___ Log, yuh know like keeping some kind of log though damned if I can figure out what the ___ stand for, BoysLog, BadLog, you tell me?.

To add your own favorite links go into your Account Management and under the site editing options select the one to manage the custom links.  You can add your own links there.

T-man,
I would just like to say hello and let you know how much I am enjoying JoeUser. I came here, by accident really, whilst researching for a project and have found it invaluable to my cause. I was in need of understanding and being aware of others opinions and mindset ...and well as I said this is invaluable. There are so many people here who have similar ideals as myself and it has given me the energy and motivation to continue in my task.
It is very nice to be part of JU, T-Man, and I will continue to enjoy the experience....of that I am sure.
