I caught two fish!

This past weekend was spent at our family's cabin in Western MN. My husband and I bought fishing liscence's and for the first time in about 10 years I went fishing.

It took ALL day and evening Sunday but at the end of the night at dusk I caught two sun fish. YAY!!!

I threw them back into the lake, but not without taking some photos first.

I think I found a new hobby, I found fishing very relaxing, and it was nice to learn somthing new from my husband and sister.

well done, joey . my hubby catches fish for us to eat about once a week or so if he's in the mood. i agree that it's a nice way to relax.

Yea!!!! But I missed it. I was so happy to see the 4 of you on the dock just enjoying yourself and being relaxed.

I think that we had the most fun all four of us together when we were fishing Sunday evening. Of course Ryan didn't talk the whole time. I don't think I heard him say more than 3 words all weekend.

I want a fishing pole now though... a pink one!

Yay!  My sister got bitten by the fishing bug!


We went fishing Saturday afternoon, and caught a few sun fish and a trout.  Nothing worth keeping.


I don't know if the make pink fishing poles - would that be to match your pink hair? (I want to see that, btw)

I only caught sunfish too, but it was still exciting!
