SD Central stops loading

I have an odd occurance with SD Central. It seems that once in a while, regardless of what version I have (this has been a common thread for the last 2 weeks of latest versions), SD Central will just not load. "sdmpc.exe" will be in the process list, but that's it. "sdcentral.exe" won't be, and if I try to load it again, same thing. I can't run the debug, cause it doesn't show up either. The workaround thus far has been similar to the fix for galciv failure to run, just install the sdcentral install from totalgaming.net. I'm don't know if it's the same underlying problem, though. It's a nuisance more than anything else, and I know what I need to do to workaround it, but I just would like to know if there is something I'm doing wrong.

It sounds like when you quit SDC its not totally unloading. Due to its multi-threaded nature, if a piece of SDC is still loaded it will cause the other parts not to load. Please delete the contents of your \program files\stardock\sdcentral folder and install SDC again. (it should pick up on everything that you have already installed. Then updated it to build 61. This is the one that was released today. It should get you all fixed up.
