This is my first Blogging session. I'm not really sure of exactly how to go about doing this but the following is an attempt at my first Blog!! When I was small I remember once a year going to our communities Democratic Picnic.A neighbor of ours brother was very active politically and seeing we all attended the same church{Catholic} my parents became loyal supporters of Mr.Baker.I never really cared about all the political bullshit that was going on I just simply went for the food and the friends.As I got older voting and politics were never very prevelent in my life until recently. I live with a retired Marine so if I was going to have any kind of conversation with my Marine I needed to get well versed on politics. I remember the day, September11,2001. I was working that day in town and Frank{My Marine} came into my place of employment with the most awful look on his face. I wasn't sure what had happened, I had never seen a look like this before. Frank began to tell me what had happened. A sickness began to swell in the pit of my stomach. It was a feeling I had never experienced in my life before.Frank was pissed. He never has been too keen on foreigners anyway and this just made his feelings for them valid. Since that day I became aware of just how much these people hated us.They wanted to cripple our economy and fill us with fear! Did it work? Not in my Home it didn't! No one truely wants war. Do they? Apperantly so, at least these insane, dilussional, Sand Niggers from afar. Unfortunately sometimes you have to have war in order to have peace and order in the world. Soon after all of this I made it a point to become familiar with our President Mr. George W. Bush. I remember the day we entered Afghanistan. Soon after this shit started, many of my nephews went and joined a branch of armed forces and now my nephew Timmy is over there doing his part.He joined the Army and now he is stationed in the Sunie {Forgive me not sure of the spelling} Triangle.He patrols the roads into Baghdad and gaurds the convoys of our men and women going in and out of the city of Baghdad.I pray for his safety daily and only hope for his return home safely. When Bush announced he was going into Iraq I was a bit confused. I had heard so much about Iraq and Iran I figured they were all in cahoots. I still believe they are all connected in someway. At least I believe their intentions are all the same. Get the Americans!! I trusted our governments decision to enter Iraq. Hearing the speech George gave {where he was referring to Sadam} when he said "This is the man that tried to kill my Daddy" I knew right there and then the war was on!! Yes maybe, just maybe it was a bit of a personal vendetta. And No this wasn't a good reason to enter Iraq. But whats done is done and there is nothing no one can do about it now. We need to stop and think about the outcome though and try to find some good things that have resulted from this. I had never realized just how oppressed these people were. Especially the women. Iraq was still back in the feudal days of torture, cruel and unjust punishment and simply inhumane treatment of people in general. Hell, we treat our pets better here than the people and children of Iraq were being treated. No one can deny that!! Since these days of mayhem and death,I have heard so much Bush Bashing its pathetic. Wake up America this is what the terrorists want. We are giving in to there ploy against us.How many of us Americans have turned our back on our President and have decided to not support him? Anyone remember the classic song "United we Stand Divided We Fall"? We are falling!! We need to unite. Everyone may not agree with all that has happened but dammit we still need to be united. Bush is only human as we all are. And every must agree that being human comes with mistakes.Whatever the main motivation there was for us to enter Iraq we need to try to spend our time and energy to make the best out of a horrible world situation. What good does it do for us as a people to Bush Bash ?All the terrorists are doing now is planning future attacks to continue to try to break down our infastructure of our life in general. We can not let this happen or we have no one to blame for the outcome but ourselves.We need to unite now and show these sadistic, hell bent marauders, just what we're made of!! We need to focus on ways of showing our support for our Government and our President. Does anyone really think that Bashing our president is going to strenghten our country?? No, it's not. And this is why I am so sick of hearing people who have nothing better to do than to bad mouth our President. I may not agree fully with what is going on but I refused to give into these marauders and let tham win even in the smallest degree. Yes, some lives and casualties are inevitable. This is all a part of war. Kerry Scares me. His wife is a foreigner!!! We all know behind every great man is a woman pushing him along with her views and ideas. I don't want a foreigner running my country!! Do you?? My favorite line in one of Kerrys commercials is "I will tell these terrorists that we win and they lose". Well Mister Kerry you have your work cut out if you do get in office because I sure see alot of people contributing to the losses. Being United is what our country is based on. Being divided is what will make it fall. Iam not saying that we all should take up arms and go to Iraq and join in the fight. I am just simply saying we need to support our troops and our President in the fight for salvation of a people. We are supposed to be the country of "Brotherly Love". How can we be a big brother if we don't stand behind the fight and be ready to defend ours and every other peoples rights the world over? Come on people bury the hate. If you have to hate aim it in the right direction not at our own people!!
