Talk about a knock out!

Stupid Freshmen!!!

Ok, we all know soccer can be an excting sport to watch sometimes, right? I mean even the practices are funny to watch. Well tonight was our first open gym for the highschool girl's soccer team. An open gym is where you can come if you please and does not count for a sure spot on playing untill real practices start. Well this year is the first year for our school to ever have a girls team. We have a lot of freshman that are going to play, which really sucks, because most of them suck! Not to be mean, but hey truth hurts. I've played with most of the freshmen before on co-ed soccer when we were in jr. high. Well no improvement, needless to say. They still like to do what we call shoving. And in highschool they refs will card you quicker than they do in jr.high. I played on the guys team last year as a freshman, and have learned from experience. So we start out with a simple little game drill thingy and i get the ball passed to me. Well I'm a pretty average ball dribbler, but not when I got fifty people on me.(and no not litteraly) Well most of them were some stupid freshmen girls. Well i go to pass the ball to a team mate nearby when the next thing I know I'm lying flat on my back. I must have blacked out for a couple of seconds or something, because every thing was blurry and dim in color. Then I hear, "Ashley, are you ok?" I lay there and yell out, "yeah, sure, whatever." It took me a couple of seconds to get up and realize what had just happened. Then all I remember is seeing one of the freshmen girl's faces. If she's the one who knocked me out, i'm going to have to show her my wrath by tourturing her with some of my famous slide tackles, and then maybe some real tackles!!!! lol. LOL. So I start feeling dizzy and lightheaded like i'm going to pass out. but i ended up making through the rest of the practice.

Then at the end of practice, my coah,(which by the way is a male) started what we like to call "girl" talk. hehe. The first thing that came out of his mouth was, "Girls I would really much appreciate it if you would start wearing sports bras to practices and games." "You don't need to be wearing regualr bras, it's just not right." Then he starts talking about us girls being on our periods.(not trying to be nasty, but i found this humorus and kinda freaky at the same time.) He said, "Girls, if it's that time of the month, please let me know, if you happen to fell sick or dizzy." "I don't want you to pass out from being on your period and not letting me know." So of course, we being girls started to laugh at this while also realizing that this was a guy, and our coach saying this. lol. It's kinda freaky though. *Crawls to corner and hides* LOL. Then a freshman girl speaks up and says, "Oh, well I'm on mine today, but i feel just fine." Our coach is like, " Oh well....." So yeah that was freaky. Then he tells us that he's not trying to be a pervert or anything. We're all just like, "YEAH RIGHT!!!" LOL. So I guess it goes to show that soccer can have its ups and downs. hehe.

I wasn't sure wether or not to put this under humor or not, so i put it under sports.

Hrmm....sounds.....interesting...I hope you get that freshman back...hehe....and I just think the coach was just trying to get a point across...but it's going to be awkward especially if it's a guy. Maybe I should go watch one of those games or practices sometime...lol....eh, we'll see....

Good story,

I still haven't mastered the quotes system yet. Ah well, it's not like anyone reads what I write anyhow.

Sounds like your coach is better than mine!

Good luck with those annoying freshman!

Oh, i wouldn't say Dusty is a better coach than yours Alex. I think the only difference between Dusty and George is that Dusty can tell time. hehe. . Yeah I'm going to torture the freshmen this year!! mwahahahaha!
