What Did I Do Last Night?

Most mornings I wake up a little tired and groggy. I know I don't get quite as much sleep as my body needs.

Some mornings, like this morning, I wake up feeling like someone's been punching on me all night. I don't know why. My shoulders, back, and sides are downright sore. I will grant you it wasn't the best night's sleep I've had, but there was no evidence that I spent it thrashing around in bed to cause these muscle aches.

I wonder what causes this? By the end of the work day, everything will have stretched out, and I should feel back to my abnormal self, but I'd still like to know what happens to my body some nights to leave me feeling like this.

I blame the sleeping goblins. They come into your room at night, sprinkle sleeping dust in your eyes then rearrange your body into the most uncomfortable position imaginable. Then they sit back on their haunches and laugh bitterly. Bastards!

Hope you feel better (or abnormal) soon!

I thought those were my cats! That explains a lot.

They're part of the evil cabal that includes the sprites that sprinkle pseudo-sleeping dust on you that makes you think you're sleeping, but after 8 or 9 hours you wake up feeling just as dead as when you went to bed, with your eyes an bleery as they were before and the bags under your eyes larger...

Yes, those sprites have been visiting me every night this week.
