Problems installing Gal Civ

Hi.. I posted this in another thread but thought it would be best to create a new one.

I can´t install Galciv. It stops at Weapons.mdl_ with error :

Download: C:\ 0 (attemp: 3, The Url is invalid, code: -14)

I subscribed to TG.Net yesterday and I'm using the latest stardock software. The error occurs either with the chicago or california server.

please please help (:(

Please make sure that you are using this version of SDC:
http://storage.stardock.com/files/stardockcentral20.exe

Also please try clearing your \Program Files\Stardock\SDCentral\temp folder and try the download again.

When then happens is there a long pause where nothing seems to be happening and then it dies? If so, press cancel (when it looks like its going to die) and then select GalCiv and press install again.

This also could have been caused by a server reboot or something to that effect.

Hi :)

Thanks for the replies... it seems that my proxy server was having some problems yesterday and it hanged in long files or slightly longer communications. It was a false alarm... I just paniked ;p
