Multiplayer, Hosts, anything like SupCom's?

Greetings,
I've heard a lot of this game from all the gaming podcasts I listen to. From what I've seen this game looks pretty good. I loved the camera in SupCom, I liked Homeworld, and I somewhat enjoyed civ4. I do have a question about multiplayer if anyone could answer.

I read a few threads and saw something about hosts being migrated to other players, is this anything like SupCom's multiplayer? Sending the data and each client runs a simulation? Me and my friend will get desynched after an hour or so playing supcom and have to quit the game completely.

Players are servers, but I think all the data is sent to a single player, which distributes it.

The camera is like supcom; only better.
