I wasn't crazy over Far Cry to be honest, but I did like the AI a little bit in the game. Even so, this trailer pisses me off for obvious reasons. Uwe Boll is just awful but he prides himself in his ability to fail. Man, I hate Uwe Boll.

But guys, if we didn't have Uwe, who'd be making all those compute game based movies?

I gotta say it doesn't look good (duh!). Far Cry really isn't the kinda game anyone should be making movies out of, especially not this guy. Then again, he's the only who would think it was a good idea.

Well the way I look at it, if he wasn't around, and if these movie big wigs had any common sense or ability to look at past movie budgets and profits of other video game movies, they would give the 70 million to someone with at least a good track record for making movies. Heck Uwe's financing was just considered illegal in Canada because they were tired of him spending all their bank's money on horrible movies.

He isn't anymore. The tax loophole in the german tax code was removed and he said he is calling it quits in the movie business (though he didn't say it was because of the tax code, he never mentions that).

Wait a minute...is this real? That was a really...campy? I think that's the word I want. Far Cry was and still is a very memorable and quality game. However, movies based on games...eh, I was going to say something bad about Doom because it completely traded Hell with genetically engineered stuff, but I never actually got around to seeing it so... Hey, it could have been worse. They could have gone ahead with that movie about Halo and the other one about Gears of War.

I just want to see someone say "You, in the shirt!".
