Galaxy Forge question

I created a custom map with GF yet when I load the map to play the game changes the layout of my map for some reason and I can't seem to figure out why. Does anyone have an idea what might be causing this?

No all the connections are different. Planets are not connected in the sequence I intended. Very strange perhaps that one is bugged somehow ill try recreating it from scratch and see if that works

so all the planets are the same type, and same postion, it is just the phase lanes messed up.

Wierd, did you do anything to the map AFTER you made it in GF? (besides place it in GALAXY folder)

Well the phase lines are all connected to the wrong planets and the planets are all in different positions when i try to play it. I didn't change anything else with the map after making it. Another weird thing is that I physically deleted the map file from the galaxy folder in the game directory and it is still showing up in the map selection screen and is playable from within the game. How is this possible?

The Galaxy Forge views the galaxy from the bottom for some reason. Try looking at your map from below and see if it matches up then.
