My mod for a much slower game

Here is what I did so far to slow down the game and make it better for larger map

Large map mod v 1.00

Slightly lessen the alligance lost due to distance from the capital
Cut income and extraction by around 50%
Defense cannon now at double range and double damage
PJI 100% increase in efficiency
Lessen the diplomatic penalty for not completing quest, more time to complete the quest and more time between quest request.
More time between Pirate raid but raids will be slightly more viscious.
Now takes more structure to have access to higher tier research
Can Train capitalship up to level 6 via research
100% bonus to planet health
Up to 4000 supply for bigger fleets with 3 tier 7 research for those who dare to pay up to 90% upkeep for a total of 5484 supply.
50% more capital ship slot
1000% increase to base research time, Planetary structures and infrastructures build time.
Dark fleet now has a much longer cooldown and need the prerequisite labs to function.
50% more tactical slot
Increased the super weapon slot requirement.
Increased the time it takes before the market price drop.

Suggestion of play: Large map, slow or normal speed, normal or fast research, low or med ressource.

Any suggestion before I upload it?

Btw i wasnt sure if I wanted to slow down the ship building or not, what you guys think?

Did you get the research speed modifiers to work via the gameplay constants, or did you edit each research directly?

I edited the research all base time, for some reason, it seem like most of the gameplay bottom lines doesn't work. Ill try another copy of the entity just to check it out

I like your idea. I prefer a 'slower' game. Plus the added defense helps those who like to turtle (sorry, I want a game of strategy, not offensive button mashing).

I look forward to see what you come up with, save me the trouble of modding it myself.

Is this for patch 1.02 version of Sins? :)

Bah it seems like some part of the file was corrupted or something because with another mod i created to test it, the scalar now works fine

Good work. I won't use it myself... the games already take 6-7 hours the way I play now. I don't think SoaSE would still be fun for me if it went on a more 4X pace - the design has been stripped down and tuned to work as this 4X/RTS hybrid and it's the unique style and pace that really make the game for me so I wouldn't change that.

All the same, good fast modding work - and perhaps a backbone for a complete makeover into a purely 4X style game, the sort of thing MoO3 was supposed to be.

err games can take up to months to finish.. do u want a game to take years to finish. it just surprises me that people could want a slower game when sins is already incredibly slow..

you know what, i think ur one crazy bastard. and i dont mean that as a major insult or anything.

Not a slower game but bring mechanics in the line with larger map. Right now diplomacy for exemple don't work at all.Even on the slowest, research is still way too fast compare to the game lenght, this is the reason for this mod.
