TweakVista refusing to install on Windows 32-Bit

Dizplaced has reported that Tweakvista refuses to install on his Vista 64 bit installation. I am having exactly the same issue, but with Vista 32 bit. I have previously installed the trail version with success, by registered version on Stardock Central will not. If a solutions has been discovered or if anyone can enlighten me, please post.

There was a new release of Tweak just this week. Are you on the current, or trying to install the current version or update to the latest version? I have this program running on my desk on Vista 64bit with out issue.

hi, when did you purchase the cursor fx? I bought mine end of december 07. I waited till the full version, not the beta came out and installed it after removing the beta/rc/ there was issues with the registration system, contact stardock support and they will send out a new updated serial key, fixed all issues for me.

I have been trying to install tweakvista for about 2 weeks now. I'd almost given up trying, when I came across Dizplaced's post, which is exactly the same problem I have been having. I have not yet sucessfully install and version at all of TweakVista through Stardock central. Gygabyte, I don't have Cursor Fx, what made you think I did, and how is this relavant.

I have Vista home Premuium, an Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core processor 4800 (x2), ~2.5GHz,
with 2 gigs of RAM.

I hope that there's an obvious answer to this.

Whoops ! sorry must have been reading another post , or my coffee intake has slowed down, hehe. My aplogies. However, my windows vista sp1 rc i have tweak vista installed ever since the beta and rc, no issues. The only thing i did when installing is to, disable my antivirus/firewall before uninstall then install newest relaease. All is great.

This is going to be a (very) stupid question, but what is a "ticket", and how do I "start one up".

Send in an email to [email protected] or go to the support page on Stardock.com. It creates a ticket and we assist you from there in more detail.
